Then and now 4.0

LUCAS NELSON
(Q) What is your fondest HS memory?
(A) The night we water ballooned the cop car. All the friends, dances, sports, etc... Everything!

(Q) What have you been up to since HS?
(A) I served a mission in Hiroshima Japan. Came home married Jessica Gordon. (PV Class of 2001) We have 2 boys Grant (4) and Logan (2). After working in construction for 6 years in St. G. We packed up and moved to North Las Vegas in Feb. of 2009 after I got hired by the North Las Vegas Police Dept. Got through academy, field training and about to get off probation. Its been the best thing for us. We love it here. Life is good!

KATIE (LEAVITT) JENNINGS
(Q) What is your fondest HS memory?
(A) Band, of course! Choir, and the school musicals.

(Q) What have you been up to since HS?
(A) I went to Dixie State and played in the band there. I married the man of my dreams and we have three wonderful kids. Chloe (4), Tyler (2), and Isaac (7 months). We are still living in St.George and loving family life.

BEN PENICK

(Q) What is your fondest HS memory?
(A) Kicking it with the rats, prowling the halls, ASSEMBLIES, choir, orchestra, plays, STOMPs, skipping AP Biology to go watch Can't Hardly Wait at Colt's house. . . .. Every day in High School was awesome, our class was the best for sure. If I were to pick one outstanding experience that kind of summed up a lot of emotion I have for high school, watching Laura Giles get dubbed Homecoming Queen. . . . AWESOME.

(Q) What have you been up to since HS?
(A) After graduation I served a mission to Fukuoka, Japan. Came back, was an EFY counselor, and shoveled dirt for a summer of work in Las Vegas. I moved to Payson to live with my brother and go to school at BYU. Went on my first date up here with with my mission buddy's sister. We got married.My wife's name is Jenni, and she is a babe. We went to Japan for a summer to teach English and had a blast. Came back hopped into the fire academy through UVU, got a job as a firefighter in South Jordan, and I have been there for 5 years. I have also volunteered for Payson Fire and Ambulance for 4 years. My wife Jenni does hair. We have two boys Cooper (3) and Hudson (1). I pretty much try and keep them from breaking stuff all the time now. I gotta go, Hudson is eating crayons.

(Q) What is your fondest HS memory?
(A) was it 8 ounces of spit, toothpaste, and water was it making out in the exec room during class was it rolling in AC smith's red convertible was it when the brakes went out in the convertible was it building a giant plastic moon for some dance was it sleeping on the roof of the school was it Pine View High School how do you feel!!? was it Mrs. Hazen.... definately not Hazen it is a bouquet of pleasant memories

(A) Served a Mission State-side in Lansing, Michigan Attended DSC and got my Associates Degree Helped to instigate a Man-Night tradition of blowing up innocent fruit and vegetables Moved to Logan to Finish Bachelors in Finance Minored in Economics and Financial Planning Helped cause the subprime mortgage meltdown Met a beautiful blond firecracker and married her Moved to Orange County, CA to work for a mutual fund company, American Funds Learned to love the Beach and Disneyland even more Studied for and Passed the Certified Financial Planner Exam Got a job working at a Wealth Management Firm in Studio City, CA and moved to Agoura Hills, CA

SAVANNAH (MANESS) FOISY
(Q) What is your fondest HS memory?
(A) Staying out late with all my girlies!! Now that we're married with kids, I'm sure we're all in bed by ten! I loved just hanging out and having little responsibility! Being a grown up can sometimes suck!

(Q) What have you been up to since HS?
(A) I've been married to the best guy, Erik, for six and a half years. We have a 2 1/2 year old daughter named Avery and a little boy on the way. My husband is in the Army national guard, which has become a big part of our lives. He served in Iraq for a year and a half in 2005. I graduated from Dixie State with an associates of Science and Utah State University with a bachelors in psychology. I worked in a pharmacy for four years and am now a stay at home mommy. We live in Las Vegas while my husband attends dental school. After that, we'll go where the money takes us!

MCKAYLA (GROVER) HUMMEL

(Q) What is your fondest HS memory?
(A) Have too many It was a great time ....

(Q) What have you been up to since HS?
(A) Went to DS for a year. Got married to Jacob Hummel in Augest of 02 had our first ShealiAnn in 03 . Then Noah in 04, Reagan in 07 and our last Taitum in 09. Been busy beening a stay at home mom Loving it and would not change it for the world .Jake works for is family at Hummel's Automovite and is going to school . He just graduated from Washington City Fire Acadamy and will start his EMT classes in the fall.

JOSHUA KREITZER
(Q) What is your fondest HS memory?
(A) So many...cross country, dances, my Dad's classes, other classes, skipping school to go to Las Vegas with Colt Smith and Crystal Fawson.

(Q) What have you been up to since HS?
(A) Hungary Budapest mission; BS in Integrative Biology at BYU; marriage to the love of my life Cary Fleming in 2004 at the St. George Temple; High School Biology teacher at PVHS 2007-2008; currently finishing up MS in Biology at BYU; we'll move to Virginia next week to begin a PhD program at Old Dominion University in the Fall. We have three kids: Eva (4), Olivia (2), and Caleb (1).

  1. Josh Kreitzer!!! I lived in the norfolk area for 4 years....the yorktown and norfolk wards there are AWESOME!!!
    Its a pretty crappy area (military,grey, slummy, dirty, old) but you will love it. There is a ton of stuff to do...and lots of birds to watch ;)
